이 안내는 Munch 데스크톱 앱(macOS·Windows·Linux)과 소개 홈페이지에 적용됩니다.
파일은 컴퓨터에 보관됩니다.
앱은 접근을 허용한 파일과 폴더를 로컬 보관 위치로 이동하고 이름, 원래 경로, 보관 시각, 크기 등 복원에 필요한 기록을 기기에 저장합니다. 파일 내용이나 보관 목록을 운영자의 서버로 업로드하는 기능은 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
권한과 사용자 선택
macOS는 선택한 폴더 접근과 Finder 자동화 권한을 사용합니다. 저장된 폴더 접근은 앱 설정에서 관리하고, 시스템 권한은 운영체제 설정에서 관리할 수 있습니다. Windows·Linux는 운영체제가 허용한 파일 접근 범위를 사용합니다. 보관 자료를 복원하기 전에 앱의 데이터나 보관 위치를 삭제하지 마세요.
결제
Mac App Store판은 Apple이 유료 앱 구매 결제를 처리할 예정입니다. 앱 내 추가 기능 결제는 없습니다. 운영자는 카드 정보를 저장하지 않습니다. Windows·Linux의 판매 방식은 정식 출시 시 안내합니다. 현재 홈페이지에서 계정 인증이나 결제를 받지 않습니다.
오류 진단
정리 오류가 발생하면 무작위 보고서 ID, 운영체제, 오류 코드, 실패 단계와 원복 상태를 관리자 서버에 전송합니다. 파일 이름·경로·내용과 음악 제목은 전송하지 않습니다. 설정에서 자동 전송을 끌 수 있습니다. 기록은 최대 30일 보관하며 서버 관리자만 볼 수 있습니다. 요청 제한을 위한 IP 해시는 하루 동안 사용합니다. 전송 실패 시 기기에 최대 20개를 보관하고 재실행 또는 다음 오류 시 재시도합니다. 네트워크 전송과 관계없이 기기의 복원 기능은 작동합니다.
홈페이지와 문의
이 홈페이지에는 광고·분석 도구나 파일 업로드 기능이 없습니다. ChatGPT Sites 호스팅 제공자는 사이트 제공과 보안을 위해 IP 주소 및 브라우저 정보 등 기술적 요청 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 이메일 문의 시 보내신 주소, 메시지, 첨부자료를 응답 목적으로 받습니다. 비밀번호나 민감한 파일은 보내지 마세요.

Munch Companion — Extension privacy
Updated October 13, 2026. The free extension connects ChatGPT completion alerts and YouTube music to the separately purchased Munch desktop app.
Data used on your computer
On YouTube and YouTube Music it reads the page title, playing state and remaining playback time. On ChatGPT it checks whether a response is being generated and has completed, and reads the tab title and browser-window position. It uses response text locally to distinguish a newly completed response; your questions and responses are not sent to Munch or stored by the extension.
Completion events, window positions and music information are sent only to Munch on the same computer. No data is sent to the developer, external servers, analytics or advertising services. The extension does not read unrelated websites or access files, passwords or account cookies.
Settings and choice
Connection codes, feature switches and a random music client identifier are stored locally in the browser. Each feature can be switched off separately. Disconnect removes the connection codes and disables both features. Removing the extension clears its storage.
Limited use and support
Information is used only to provide these two companion features. It is not sold or used for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions. Munch Companion follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Contact nokiki11@gmail.com for support.
